14/06/26 - So I have recently changed the lore. Again. Lol.
I like how the lore is going so far and I'm really happy with it. Now the lore is that the Mortems have realised that there is a disproportionate amount of Stalkers (magical monsters attracted to astral magic) to how much magic they use collectively.
Due to them living in a human city since they fled their original coven, there should not be any witches here but they can't be sure anymore. This is not only an issue for the Mortems but also humans aswell. Stalkers exude raw astral magic which is harmful to the ordinary human as their bodies are not made to handle magic which can lead to illness and possible death depending on how long they were exposed to astral magic.
Callum takes it upon himself to find the unknown spellcaster as his mother is much weaker than her prime since giving birth to him and his father had very weak magic.
At the start, Callum thinks that the unkown spellcaster is a witch from the coven of Pagona (his parent's original coven) since it's the closest to the city and could be punishment for his parents for fleeing the coven.
This is where Callum is flying with his staff over a city and sees some witches transporting a very obviously magical box (this catches his interest as it could be something used to attract more Stalkers to the town and is just plain suspicious that a handheld box needed 3 different witches to transport it.) So, he beats up these witches and spells them to explain what the deal is this magical white cube.
They barely gave Callum enough information other than it contained a very powerful weapon and so Cal had opened it to see what it was (he's the kind of guy who who wants to understand everything relating to magic).
Boom. He opens the box and uh the weapon doesn't look like your traditional weapon and it looks like a humanoid thing. Callum meets Lucence who seems to be a demon from the horns on his head and he is immediately attacked by him but the fight doesn't last long as the magical box had greatly weakened the demon.
So, in order to keep himself alive, he makes a deal with Callum (through very broken english since the demon speaks a different language and only some words are understandable to Callum).
After a spell to make the demon understand the language of Linor, they decide to change his name since Lucence would be too hard to explain to other people why his name was something so strange. And so Lucence became Luci since it was definately a nickname of his and then Luci became Lucian.
So their deal is that Lucian will help Callum with finding this unknown spellcaster and dealing with the Stalkers in exchange, for Callum helping Lucian getting back to his dimension.
Polished by Starlight

Hi hellloooooo!!You have stumbled onto my oc page that is as developed as my ocs themselves.....
Polished by Starlight is a story of where a young witch tries to uncover who has been casting magic outside of his family which attracts monsters called Stalkers into the city of Dimmore all while single handedly running a successful nail parlour until he meets 2 people who would change his life.

15/08/25 - Currently trying to figure out good story premise for these ocs and it's killing me.....
My main problem is that I want their story to kinda go through a episodic route where basically they have to deal with something new every once in a while but I just don't know what. What's truly keeping me stuck is the towns people; like if the PBS trio has to deal with something like a curse or monsters, how the hell do towns people not know about it? Honestly considering if I go down the 'lolirock' route where they have a pocket dimension they train and have their main battles in or I might go with a 'Chilling tales of Sabrina Spellman' where they just sleeping spell the town.
