I really wanted to crochet something with my new hook so why not make the iconic crochet pouches.. books? folders? idk but my yarn was actually too thin for my new 5mm hook so I had to triple my yarn for it to become thicker however it burned through the remnants of my black yarn that I was confident that I would make the second side without buying a new skein (which I didn't have any pocket money for) so it ended up with just one panel.
Everything went well initially until it came to the granny square pocket dealing with my scissors. My scissors would always find a hole to just slip through and I started getting desperate and started to mess around with my sewing. Eventually, the scissors won the battle and I opted to just have the handle facing down.

Today I started my first day at college and it was DRAINING. I didn't enjoy it as much as I would've wanted to since I was outside for like 12 hours T-T however my treat to myself for getting good grades arrived which was a cute hook from the Etsy store MaximumcraftsDesign and it's really nice!!

Roses I crocheted for Mother Dearest's 56th birthday. I was upset at her since She wasn't even in the city when it was her birthday but instead out in London with someone she's interested in?? Yeah I don't like him much.
At least, she likes them enough that she always has them next to her pillows on her bed. But now I'm wondering how'll I top this next year....

So one night, I was just listening to the same 4 vkei/jrock songs on repeat and I was kinda going insane on the vkei zaza but I made a lolita headdress instead. I haven't worn it since because I don't really radiate lolita but I like making accessories!!
I think I went too crazy with the ruffles since I did like 5dc in one stitch so the curls are really...hard?? Tight?? Whatever the word is but it's not as soft as like 3dc but maybe I got too focused on making a noticable ruffle.
Mother Dearest told me that I shouldn't do a ruffle at the back because it might've been too much but maybe I should try doing both ruffles (and 3dc in one stitch) if I were to make another one.
